Northern Water Snake is a very common resident of marshy areas in the northern US states and southern Canada.

Adults grow up to just over 1m in length and are capable of killing and eating Bullfrogs. Conversely, small, immature Water Snakes can themselves fall prey to adult Bullfrogs.
